Established by the Los Angeles Times and the AAF in 1988,
this prestigious program provides students a 10-week summer internship.

In 2007, 20 Stickell interns were placed in media organizations, advertising agencies and client and supplier companies.

Intro

My name is Ellen Cox and I'm an advertising management major at the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University. Although I go to school in Ohio, I'm originally from the Chicago suburbs.

This summer, my Stickell internship brought me to the live music capital of the world and the home of GSD&M at Idea City. I'm spending the summer as an account service intern for the Norwegian Cruise Line account. The NCL team is great, and I am quickly learning the ins and outs of the cruise industry.

I love account service because I get to interact with almost every facet of the agency.

In my free time I'm falling in love with the city of Austin and doing my best to not let the summer pass too quickly.
